ShoqBox Buddy 1.1

ShoqBox Buddy is a free program to manage audio files on the Philips ShoqBox also known as the Philips "Personal Sound System" e.g. PSS110 or PSS120.
Apocgraphy wrote this program because of their intense dissatisfaction with the "MusicMatch" software that comes with the ShoqBox.
Apocgraphy could go on about their feelings regarding this piece of software but if you've used it you will know.

A basic problem with the ShoqBox is that it is not enough to simply add files to your ShoqBox using Windows explorer.
There is a file called MyDb in your ShoqBox which must be updated in order for ShoqBox to be aware of the files.
ShoqBox Buddy maintains this database for you.

ShoqBox Buddy is entirely Free.
It is fully functional, contains no spyware, collects no information on you or your computer, does not nag you, etc.

Basic usage

ShoqBox Buddy has been designed to operate entirely by dragging and dropping files.
However, if you add files to your ShoqBox using Windows explorer ShoqBox Buddy will update you ShoqBox's internal database to reflect the current contents of your ShoqBox.

The following drag and drop functions are possible:
- Copy songs onto your ShoqBox by dragging MP3 and WMA files from windows onto the ShoqBox Buddy.
- Copy folders onto your ShoqBox by dragging the folder from windows onto the ShoqBox Buddy this will add all the files and automatically create a playlist containing those files with the name of the folder.
- Import playlists onto your ShoqBox by dragging M3U files from windows onto ShoqBox Buddy.
- Delete songs from your ShoqBox by dragging songs from file list to the trash icon in the bottom right corner.
- Create a playlist by dragging songs from file list to a blank spot on the Playlist area on the right.
- Add to a playlist by dragging songs from file list to an existing Playlist on the right.
- Delete songs from playlist by dragging songs from a playlist to the trash icon in the bottom right corner.
- Delete playlists from your ShoqBox by dragging playlists to the trash icon in the bottom right corner.
- Change playlists by dragging songs from a playlist to another playlist.
- Reorder playlists by dragging songs from a playlist to another position in the playlist.
